Florence is a city in Florence County and it was founded as a railway hub, connecting the area to the surrounding cities of Effingham, Lake City, and Marion. Getting around Florence

Florence includes plenty of highways and interstates for easy access to the surrounding towns and cities. An intercity bus service travels to dozens of locations throughout the city, and the adventurous tourists can take an intercity train to New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, Jacksonville, Tampa or Miami.

Getting from the Airport to the City

Airport arrivals will land at Myrtle Beach International Airport, and there are plenty of public and private transport options available for direct travel to Florence.
