Tenerife South Airport (TFS), which is also called Tenerife South-Reina Sofia Airport, is well known by many vacationers from Britain and other parts of Europe. The airport is just 40 miles (60km) from Santa Cruz, but relatively close to resorts on the west coast of the island.
