We had a reservation at Asturias Airport, Spain. Anyway, the day before I called to confirm my booking and everything was fine. The next day, when we arrived at the airport Budget counter was closed. Apparently, they close at 10.00 pm even though they know your flight arrives at 10.20 pm. We were lucky to find a Budget employee leaving the terminal who came to help us. We got an extra charge of 70 EUROS for being late. Very disappointed with Budget.

I was charged a 25€ fee for a scratch + a 50€ fee for managing the repairs I wasn’t told of this when I dropped the car. I was only infant email. When I signed the drop off document at the agency I was told all was good. To be true, there was no scratch at all. I fell I have been robbed.

Hertz is out to charge as much as they can! Our good experience turned into a bad one when we returned the car to the dealer. We had been very careful with the car that Alexandro upsold to us when we rented. He still charged us 110 euros for tiny dings on the edge of the driver car door that you had to open the door to see. I was very careful with the door never hitting anything when I opened it and I was the only driver. Perhaps they have charged for that before to others? It left a bad feeling for us and we will not rent from Hertz, Dollar or Thrifty again.
