Flying out of Fort Lauderdale International Airport will take 23h 59m or longer. There is just one international airport in Armenia – Zvartnots International Airport, which features two terminals, as well as shops and cafes.
Sadly, there are no direct flights to Armenia from the United States. All flights offered, whether from the East Coast, the Midwest, the Southeast, the Southwest, or the West Coast will require at least one stopover. Some flights will require two stopovers and can increase your travel time substantially, although there is a chance that it will reduce your ticket costs. Some of the cities offering connecting flights to Armenia from the US include Miami, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, New York City, Boston, and Detroit to name just a few. A flight with two stops from an East Coast airport will take up to 23h to reach Armenia, while a flight from the West Coast with two stops might take 29h or longer.

Armenia has a long, rich history and that is apparent in the number of things to do in the nation. You can explore the Caucasus Mountains, or visit the Garni Temple. Goris Cave is worth a look, as is Amberd Fortress. Make time to visit Republic Square, or the Sevanavank Monastery. Noratus Cemetery is one of the oldest you’ll find. The Armenian Genocide Memorial is a solemn place to visit, but you’ll find plenty of nightlife, shopping, and dining within the nation’s urban areas, too.
Yes, a passport is necessary to get into Armenia from the US. You’ll need one that is valid for the duration of your stay. Note that there are no vaccination requirements, and if you will be in the country for under 180 days, you do not need a visa.
