When is the best time to fly to Casper?

Casper lies on the Platte River in Wyoming, USA and it is a wonderful choice for holidays, particularly during the summer peak season which runs from May till September.  Flights are more expensive at this time with annual events like the Beartrap Music Festival bringing extra visitors to the town each August.  Temperatures of 31 C are common in July and August so take cool, light clothing.

Shoulder season periods are between March and May and October to November and spring days in March and April are ideal for enjoying spring growth, although snow is still possible till April. Bargain shoulder season flights to Casper in October and November are perfect for catching the autumn foliage and enjoying clear, crisp days.

With the exception of Christmas and New Year, the months from December to February are low season and flight prices reflect this.  The city is less busy at this time and though snow is abundant from January till April there is still a lot to do.
