Located in upstate New York, Binghamton is set in exceptionally pleasant natural surroundings. Getting around Binghamton

Binghamton has an efficient bus service in operation, linking all of the major areas within the city. Taxis are plentiful here but most require you to telephone ahead for a pick-up.

Getting from the Airport to the City

The city is served by Greater Binghamton Airport (BGM), which is situated approximately 10 miles (16 km) from the city centre. As a regional airport there are no international flights which terminate here. However, there are regular connections to Philadelphia and Washington. There are a number of licensed taxis which operate at the airport, in addition to options for car rental. The bus service which connects the airport to Binghamton is infrequent and requires advanced booking.
