Repetitive delays without much information of what's going on. Gate crew was vocal about having not having any information, casting severe doubt on their operational efficacy. After multiple delays, we had to get off the airplane and wait longer. Still no information other then "the plane is no good." After an additional hour plus of delay, there was no sense of urgency, care, or empathy for what passengers experienced. The closest to a empathic statement that was made was, "we can't do anything about maintenance issues."
