Can I fly to New Caledonia right now?
There are current restrictions for travel to New Caledonia at this time. These restrictions are for the safety of New Caledonia citizens and travelers alike and are as follows: Entry restrictions
New Caledonia has restricted the entry of most foreign travelers.
Only travelers who can prove that entry is for urgent family/work reasons will be allowed to enter, and they will be expected to fill in a travel certificate and provide proof.
All travelers over the age of 11 must show a negative test result for COVID-19 issued within 72 hours before departure for New Caledonia.
Travelers must also provide a self-certified document affirming that they have no COVID symptoms and that to their knowledge they have not been in contact with any person confirmed positive within the last 14 days.
Airlines will refuse boarding to anyone who does not produce both proof of a negative result and the self-certified document.
All travelers will be required to complete 14 days of quarantine in a hotel requisitioned by the government. This does not apply to arrivals from Wallis and Futuna.
If you must travel during this time and are allowed to based on current restrictions, please stay informed about updated travel safety tips.
