Bermuda’s currency is the Bermuda dollar, which trades at the same rate as the American dollar. The US dollar is accepted almost everywhere. ATMs are the easiest way to exchange money.

A tip of 15 percent is expected at restaurants and hotels and taxi drivers usually get 10 percent.
Bermuda has little crime, but travelers should always use common sense and keep valuables hidden.
There are no vaccination requirements for entry to Bermuda. The food and water are safe to consume. You are recommended to carry your own health insurance.
Bermuda’s electrical current is 110 volts, 60 Hz AC, the same as in the US and Canada.
