|Jun 2024At my pick up at the Ft. Lauderdale airport, they did not have my premium SUV available and told me they were upgrading me to a mini van for $20 a day. No one upgrades to a mini van and has to pay for it. Why did I have to get charged $20 a day for a be chile I did not reserve. I should have been compensated for having to take a mini van. I will not rent from budget again. I did not like the experience.

|Jul 2023Originally were assigned a Chrysler Pacifica, which we liked a lot, but there was an issue with the license plate so we were sent back to the desk and reassigned a Kia minivan, which felt like a downgrade. Also, the person ahead of us in line needed to be reassigned a vehicle because the inside of hers was covered in cigarette ashes. The desk staff was super friendly and helpful, but seems like the vehicle maintenance team has some kinks to work out.

|Jun 2023They had QR codes in the airport and sent an email beforehand to have you pre-register with your name date of birth and drivers license number. I did this while I was waiting in line for almost 30 minutes at budget as there was no advantage of doing this before hand because you had to wait in the same line, however, it registered me for my Rental at the time that I put in this information which added an hour onto the rental, and they charged me for it. Then, when I returned the car, they did not go out and inspect, just asked me if I filled up the car. And then received a charge for fuel service, even though the receipt showed that I returned the car full. It felt like they were looking for every opportunity to add erroneous charges onto the price line price in hopes that people would not catch it.

|May 2023The staff was not friendly at all at the budget offsite. They gave us a car with multiple warning lights on that we had to return for another car halfway to our destination. A total inconvenience!!!!

|Mar 2023It would have been nice if Avis honored the reservation. They claimed the code was put in for a hard top and not a convertible as ordered. I had to pay an additional $107. I have notified the Massachusetts Attorney General.

|Jul 2023Will never rent a car through Kayak/Hertz again. Had to cancel the reservation due to a death in my family. Had to call repeatedly to get a refund. Only after plenty of frustration and time on the phone was able to receive a partial refund. Not a good experience.

|Dec 2022U Save is a scam business. Online they show the lowest price and attract customers. I bought a 3rd party collision coverage insurance online which states that I would not need any other insurance. But U Save made me buy liability insurance @ $30/day. I ended up paying much more than other major car rental companies. At the beginning, I had to wait at least one hour in line for my turn although there were only 3 customers ahead of me when I joined the line. The day I returned the car, I met few other angry customers with similar experience. U Save is an extremely corrupt company. Please do not get deceived by its online low price. They are cheat and they will rob you.

|Aug 2022I ordered this car rental for my father who was away on a trip in Ft. Lauderdale. We ordered it for 8pm and their shuttle never picked him or any of the other U-Save customers. They called and would sometimes get sent to their automated phone line. Sometimes they would get a representative who said that they’d be there in 15 min, but they never did. So my dad waited out their for and hour and a half before taking an Uber to his hotel in Miami. The only thing that I thank them for is not charging my card before completely abandoning my father. Yes the cheap prices are too good to be true.

|Feb 2026They force you to buy very expensive insurance unless you’ve brought your insurance policy with you, not just your insurance card. There is also a surprise upcharge if you are over 75! Pick up at airport was a little scary. The unfriendly driver standing next to a rental van, looked at our paperwork and ominously said, “get in”. Our $108 rental car ended up costing us ;$550. We’ll never use Priceless again!

|Apr 2025Nothing. Tried to call in advance. Put on hold forever then hung up on me. Most of the times I called nobody answers. Left voicemails and nobody called back. When it was time for pick up, I called to get picked up from the shuttle, they never answered the phone. I called priceline to get refund, they wouldn't do it. A terrible experience. Please remove this company from your referred vendors.
