Communications

Hong Kong’s international country code is 852. To call another country from Hong Kong, you’ll need to find out what network you’re using first; different networks use different codes. You can find Internet cafes all over the place, and free Internet is offered at many coffee shops, public libraries and shopping malls around town.

Tipping

If a 10 percent service charge is already added to your bill, just leave some loose change for your waiter. Otherwise a 10 percent tip is customary. To tip your taxi driver, just round up to the nearest dollar.
