|Jul 2023Lines at pickup were really long and most of the pickup process should be something you can do ahead of time. Their app or link doesn't work so anything they say you can do in advance doesn't work or speed up the process.

|May 2023I waited in line for 1.5 hours and when I was the third customer in line a Budget representative asked the front of the line customer to go to the Avis counter and rent from those agents. I had to go all the way to the back of the line again and wait another hour.

|Sep 2024Absolutely terrible. Days after return of the car they still have not refunded the $350 deposit. Most rental companies just leave the charge as pending until the car is returned. Not NextCar. Your company put the charge all the way through and never refunded the $350 deposit after the car was returned. What a ripoff. Terrible customer service. The desk also does not answer the phone during hours NextCar is supposed to be opened. So so terrible

|Mar 2022Next car may be your next car also. All car companies @BWI are all off site together and require a shuttle, so go with the cheapest for the size you like essentially. ( Except SiXT which had poor service in past).

|Aug 2021The car was good, pick up was ok and fairly easy, but drop off was confusing (maybe blame Google maps for taking me the wrong way) and no one in the booth to take back the car, so I had to walk towards check in counter before the assistant from the counter met me half way and took my keys. No receipt received, so only guessing at the “extra” fees incurred.

|Jan 2023My reservation was for a Nissan Pathfinder (3 row SUV) or similar. I received an email the morning of my reservation confirming my reservation was up to date. I arrived at BWI car rental building and I was told there would be a 4 hour delay to pick up my car. I was told I couldn't leave the premises as they would be calling out loud my name whenever a car was available. Whenever I went to the desk to ask for an update I would get a terrible look and a "I don't know sir" response. I waited and waited with two hungry 4 year old twins in the waiting room until I was finally approached and told that no 3 row SUV vehicles had been returned and that they couldn't tell me how much longer it would be. I had to accept a chevy equinox (much smaller 2 row SUV) that reeked of cigarette smell and we barely fit for the same price. I feel that the same way that people are penalized / charged for returning the car late, I should receive a refund for being given my car 4 hours later and a car that was lesser than what I paid. Terrible experience overall with very poor communication from staff.
