|Aug 2022Some time after exiting the rental facility the check engine light for oil service needed came on which was frustrating given the amount of mileage we anticipated driving. The comfort of a Toyota 4Runner is average at best. The seats are very rigid and overall comfort significantly decreases the perceived value of renting it.

|Apr 2022I arrived Saturday around noon and there was only one person in line in front of me. I had a very friendly person at the counter. He did tell me they do not accept the 3rd party insurance I had purchased through Allianz but they took the name of my regular car insurance to use instead. This was fine for me but could be a problem for someone who doesn’t have car insurance back home. When I went to get my car instead of being a small Chevy spark hatchback I had reserved it was a ginormous SUV. I went back to the desk and they weren’t able to give me a small economy but they gave me a brand new 2022 Toyota RAV4 hybrid. I was in Alaska for the weekend but had rented a compact since it was what I could afford. It was great to have the RAV4. Upon return check out took about 1 minute and was easy. Overall, I had a decent experience and lucked out on the economy cars being overbooked :)
