Jaguar Rentals in Rome

The car was not properly prepared. They were behind , it was given a quick clean then handed over too us to inspect. The mileage on my invoice didn’t match. It has the previous drivers mileage included in mine. I took some pictures of things I thought were important. Car had no windshield washer fluid , found out highway, car was down oil, and tire had a slow leak that I nursed through the duration of our trip. When we returned they tried to say I damaged the plastic hubcap . I explained it was like that upon giving it to me . They said why didn’t I take a picture of it , I asked why didn’t you spend the time to point out all previous damages. They charge me $270 for a plastic hubcap that they probably won’t change. I have dealt with other car companies in Rome with no issues. I will never choose Avis again anywhere in the world. Stay away from this place in Rome.

Price was higher than originally quoted. Be careful the hidden fees.

Staff in Roma was very helpful when we needed to exchange cars. However, the staff in Venice tried to tell us that wheel scratches were our fault when the attendant in Rome never pointed them out to us, made a record of them or allowed us to document them, as the garage was dark and Cara were parked too close to notice. Venice attendant insisted it was our fault - It was not - based on a lack of evidence made in Rome, so now I have a dispute, it seems.

I should have rented a bigger car :-)
