This charming city is also famous for producing hand-crafted crystal which is one of its main exports overseas. You can buy crystal from local, independent retailers in town.  Why not spend a morning or afternoon in the beautiful Crystal Visitors Centre that has an amazing array of exquisite items to see?

If you book a flight to Waterford in search of Irish culture and heritage, you won’t be disappointed.  Check out the city’s historical museum or go on a steam-train tour of the recently completed section of the Waterford to Dungarvan railway line.  Travelling around 10 miles (16 km) per hour will give you the opportunity to see the magnificent Suir Valley including stunning views of the river, farmland and mountains.

This people-friendly city in south east Ireland offers everyone a warm Irish welcome.  Sitting alongside a modern shopping centre you will find traditional Irish pubs serving mouth-watering homemade cuisine.
