The food service was slow and inefficient. E.g., coffee serving was very small and no offer of refills. Other than food service, the flight staff was invisible and a couple of times I saw them huddled in the galley chatting together when they were supposed to be working and being available to the customers. I was a bit shocked, because my past experience with Emirates has been quite different. I will consider other options in the future, since Emirates ticket prices are no longer competitive with Japanese airlines. I was stunned by the body odor of the woman sitting next to me (not your fault, but it was horrible) and a baby screamed for 4 of the 14 hours in the air with no offer to help from any flight attendant. I have heard attendants say that “there is nothing we can do”, but please realize that your inattention to crying babies impacts ALL of your other customers. So sorry for this negative review, but you should know how you are coming across. Japanese flight attendants are SO much more friendly and attentive.
