|Sep 2024They rental service was terrible. Never got a chance to rent the car and now I will not give my money back for insurance. I do not recommend kayak to anybody. You cannot get a hold to a representative at all to speak to them so my insurance money is lost

|Aug 2023They added a CDW that I only realized when I got the receipt after returning the car. I declined the CDW in favor of my credit card insurance but they will try everything and anything in order to cover for their low rental price out the door. I would certainly not use this agency again.

|Feb 2024To much info that was not exposed up front that I could have had take with me to cut behind the seen cost. 1 Kayak Insurance only coved collision not property damage add cost. 2 I pass for this state I could have take my responder for this add cost. Things that should have been relayed at time of booking.

|Aug 2023This was the worst experience!! No where does it say when renting you must have $500 on a credit card! Because I didn’t I had to pay an additional $517 for their insurance which means they were paid 2xs for insurance!! Of course I was told there was no Supervisor available!! At the counter there were 4 of us being ambushed, but of course I had my family I had to take this rental Very disappointed and spent money that was not a part of my budget!

It’s a bait and switch, they advertise low rates but when you get there, you have to prove you have rental car insurance elsewhere, otherwise they charge you a lot for car rental insurance plus charge you to get unlimited tolls” with their toll pass. Then, they inspect every inch of the car when you return (probably to try to get more money for damage). They are also located far away from the main car rental areas in Orlando airport - so add on another hour to your travels. I will never use them again!

|Feb 2023This was the worst experience dealing with a business. They were dishonest, causing us to have to pay to upgrade $250.00 more on the vehicle. There was another 1.5 hr waiting for the upgraded vehicle to come up. We were given a very large Chevy Tahoe. ( we wanted a camry). The upgrade was suppose to be a Pathfinder. We were told they were removing a stain from the trunk.( for an hour) We demanded to see the Manager. He did come out. We explained how upset and unfair being forced to take the upgrade. He agreed to contact us on Monday. I was contacted by a service company and after much discussing was agreed that we would get $148.00 of the total cost. There were many unhappy customers there with us.

|Sep 2023Price quoted was without any insurance, so cost a big chunk of holiday funds and car was a 4 year old with loads of damage. An awful experience will not use Kayak or Hertz again, very disappointed with Hertz I went with them because I thought they were a big reputable company, obviously not.
