When is the best time to visit?

Peak season:

Thanks to the excellent weather, the peak season in Sharm El Sheikh is long, running from April to October. Though the hottest months of June to August can be unbearable elsewhere in Egypt, the breeze at the coast means that tourists continue to fly to Sharm El Sheikh throughout this time. During the month of July, Sharm El Sheikh hosts their annual International Shopping and Tourism Festival. Shoulder season:

March to May and September to October are good times to fly out if you are looking for a bit more peace. The temperatures are still high, but the beaches will be less crowded. Shem al Nessim is the first day of the new spring which is celebrated on the first Monday after the Coptic Easter in March. During this national holiday, expect many shops and businesses to be closed.
