If you’re arriving from an area infected with yellow fever, you’ll need a yellow fever vaccination. A Hepatitis A immunization is recommended if you’re older than two. Food and water are safe, but some types of fish are poisonous even when cooked. Medical facilities in the area are good, but can be expensive, so carry your own health insurance.
