We missed the connecting flight to Quito due to weather delays JFK TO MIA. American would only allow us to rebook by standing in a line of over 100 people. By the time we spoke to the agent the next day flight to Quito was full and we had to wait until 2 days later to depart. We missed the first 2 days of our Exoticca tour. I wish American had automatically booked us on the next flight.
