When you're uncomfortable, it's hard to have a positive experience. I paid for Comfort plus with my 7 year old and due to issues with PILOTS (not weather--even though they want to claim weather so as not to be responsible or accountable) we ended up in the very back and last row. I was told to get a refund for my Comfort Plus, it would be MY responsibility to reach out to Delta through the website. None of the people working for Delta at the gate could help me. And this was after being stuck in the Atlanta airport from midnight-8am (because of a thunderstorm that had completely passed through at 6PM) and told there were no hotel vouchers available and was given a $15 one that NO ONE accepted--so it didn't even work. What a nightmare.
