Activities can include swimming, snorkeling, surfing, parasailing, jet-skiing, or just finding a hammock to relax in. For some authentic shopping, you can go to the Mercado de ArtesanÃa TurÃstico where you’ll find hundreds of stands selling crafts and souvenirs. For more fashionable shopping, there are countless boutique shops all over Downtown Zihuatanejo. As for nightlife, you’ll have a hard time getting bored. The night comes alive with dance clubs and live music venues every night, from salsa to disco to classic covers, there’s a club here for most music lovers. Dining in Zihuatanejo has fresh seafood, high-priced restaurants, or budget-friendly bar and grill places, and everything in between.
You do not need a visa to travel to Mexico if you plan on staying for less than six months. You do however need a valid passport when you arrive and for the duration of your stay in Mexico. When you arrive, you’ll be given a tourist card, we recommend you keep it safe in your passport as you may need to show it to officials at some point during your stay, but also you will have to show the tourist card when you’re leaving Mexico.
