|Sep 2023After booking the car online with Avis, the agency refused the rental because I had a debit card with a credit score "too low" for them (while I'm a foreigner), they didn't help me find a solution. I had to go to another agency a little further away which helped me much better and found a car for me immediately for a good price. I'll never rent from Avis again.

|Mar 2023I did not realize that there was not an Avis shuttle from Orlando Airport. I asked a number of people and got the same response “you will need to take a taxi”. I was waiting in line for the Avis representative and my wife started talking to a gentleman at Payless Car Rental. He told her that they handled Avis and Budget car rental and he would match the price from Kayak. 10 minutes later we were on our way. My advice to you is to tell customers that you do not have a shuttle to downtown Orlando so that they will not be surprised or disappointed.

|Aug 2025Went to pick up my already arranged vehicle and was told I needed a major credit card or a credit check. I didnt pass the 750 credit check so I couldn't rent the car I reserved. I was never told that when booking at all. The counter person was rude telling me to work on my credit for next time. There will never be a next time ever.
