|Jul 2023I got to the Hertz desk and there was one person handling everything. There were maybe 5 parties ahead of me. It took an hour to find out that despite the email I received telling me there was no need to reconfirm, there was no car available. I was told had I reserved 3weeks in advance it would be different. Unacceptable. I ended up doing two separate rentals covering 4 days instead of 6 and costing me two and a half times as much. My rental was through carrentals.com, this email is from Kayak, and the car is from Hertz. This is very confusing for customers and somewhere communication broke down. From now on I go straight to Avis. No more middle man.

|Mar 2023Due to the language barrier and it was a little confusing. I booked one thing on the webside but when we got the airport realized the mileage was not included. So the good deal we had not so good. So had to change plans. I think I endend paying the insurance twice. I don't typically do insurance but since it was in another country I didn't want any issues. Make sure you read over it really well to make sure if you know what you are getting.
