Harman Johal is great -- a very friendly, efficient and understanding "agent" (he's actually the branch manager). Mid-rental, we needed to make two major changes to our original contract; Harman accommodated us quickly and with no hassle at all. Highly recommend!

Great experience; but wish we would have been told there were winter tires on the vehicle as they were quite loud while driving in August in Sydney, Nova Scotia; no snow.

Everything could have been better…i will never rent fron there again….car smelled like cat pee, never got the vehicle that i had booked to rent and the price did not change from a truck to a small car…i feel completely ripped off

Do not provide any courtesy drop and pick up even for places within 2 miles. Their fuel policy is horrible. I filled up the tank right next to rental car location and showed the fuel receipt to the lady, but she would not believe me. She made me go again to gas station and I had force fill another 0.5 liter. Lost 15 mins and aggregation in process. Terrible.

We are very disappointed with our experience and will never use Avis again. After calling the day before our booking to change the pick up time and confirm (which the agent did confirm there was no issue with the new pick up time and the pick up time was changed), we took a taxi to downtown Avis from the airport as airport Avis was sold out. Upon arrival, Avis was closed and we were left without a rental car to get to our hotel 2 hours away. We took a taxi half way to the hotel before the airport Avis location called back saying they now had a mini van available, even though we had booked an SUV. This cost us about $400 more than anticipated ($100 taxi and can was $300 more for the week than SUV) and 4 hour of our time. It was a horrible experience on my birthday and to start our honeymoon and we will never use Avis ever again.

They sold us on a GPS when the car had one built in, and we paid for the satellite radio and it never got hooked up.

Could not use the credit card we booked with (didn't have the physical card) so we had to pay unexpected fees for insurance that would have been covered by the other card. Gentleman at the counter was not helpful - clearly wanted to go home as it was near the end of the day.

There was nobody there when we got there, had to wait half an hour for someone to get there then when we went to pay they would not accept it because the driver and credit card weren’t the same people. The woman was rude the whole experience also.
