We were rebooked from our original 7 am flight to a 9:25 am flight. We tried but could not get seat assignments upon online check-in. At the airport, the security officer almost did not let us through to the gate, since our boarding pass had no QR code and said "seat assignment at the gate." When we made it to the gate and asked for seat assignments, the gate agents kept telling us that they were not authorized to assign us seats and that we would be assigned seats 30 mins prior to departure. They referred us to the service center that would not help either. Since they also said that the flight was full, we were left in doubt if we were going to make it onto this flight. Finally, after everybody else's seats had been assigned, about 15 mins to departure they assigned us two separate seats. We could not sit together. Whoever designed seat assignment and boarding procedures at Alaska Airlines must have zero understanding of how to make such a process work smoothly and efficiently. We'll think twice before booking another flight with Alaska!
Did not board early with comfort care. No help with overhead bin for this senior citizen. Cramped seat. Not worth extra money. Delayed flight. Not a real happy flight crew.
Boarding was 30 mins wait so that needs to become quicker also on board crew were not very friendly and food was disgusting i pre ordered Hindu vegetarian meal which is supposed to be curry and they served me Tagine on all 4 flights which was actually on the menu. Seats were not comfortable either not much on the drinks menu so i wouldnt recommend Delta.
I was returning from Washington, and the receptionist assigned me seats 31B to Istanbul, and it was painful to wait 5 hours, and when I entered the plane, I was surprised with seat 12F without taking into account that I had a long flight, as throughout the two flights I was between two people whom I did not know, at least at the window or the corridor, knowing that the two flights are there Lots of vacant seats
Worst flight we’ve ever taken. After flying out of Montreal and passing through multiple AC security checkpoints using my US enhanced license we were denied boarding once we reached our destination back in the US which left stranded. Totally on me for not realizing I needed a full passport but my mistake was thinking that if I can cross from Vermont to catch a Canadian flight with my EDL then that document should be ok to fly. No one at Air Canada told us we would be stranded in the US. So a panicked $1500 flight now has us sitting in NYC trying to get home. Further Air Canada took our bags off the return flight and left no staff at the check in or baggage claim for five hours as we tried to regather our things to find a way home. Oh, and my wife’s baggage is now damaged so the handle won’t function to boot. Staff in AZ was really rude with us to boot. So now we’re missing work, have a car stuck in Montreal we need to retrieve from Vermont and an extra $1500 in stressful flights to add to our experience. air Canada refused to offer us any discount even in the flight we were denied boarding. We will be sharing this experience online anywhere we think it can have an impact. All that needed to happen was for someone somewhere along the line to warn us we were going to have a problem. Instead, you took our money and screwed us.
Getting in the flight we ware definently pressure. Had difficulties coming in with our kids equipment and crew wasn't nice . Felt really pressed to check In after they made us wait for them not being able to identify the sit , even we ware on time ... they left earlier then posted time and wan not able to pick up my alcohol from duty free zone the cost us great inconvenience for our plans . Over all really pour experience
Nice service. Total nonsense is the boarding of passengers. From first rows to last rows instead of the other way around. I have been flying for 15 years this was the longest seating of passengers
