War Remnants Museum
Not for the faint of heart, the War Remnants Museum portrays the depths of Vietnamese suffering during the Vietnam War. Be aware that the museum was once called the Museum of American War Crimes and has an anti-American point of view. Displays include weapons, artifacts and graphic photographs portraying the effects of napalm and Agent Orange. An entire room shows how biological warfare, such as defoliant sprays, was waged during the conflict. A courtyard has larger artifacts like tanks and planes on display. It’s not all doom and gloom though. One room examines peace demonstrations around the world.
