Airport Overview
Lille Airport, also known as Lille-Lesquin Airport or Lesquin Airport, lies at the center of an intricate highway network that allows for quick access to Paris, Dunkirk and Belgium. Often nicknamed the “15-minute airport,” Lille Airport is ranked as one of the top French airports in terms of accessibility and punctuality.
With only 1.25 million passengers per year catching flights to Lille Airport, the airport is small yet highly efficient, and an absolute pleasure to visit. There is almost no walking distance between the check-in desks and security gates, staff are friendly and helpful and the airport is clean and tidy.
Terminal Transfer
Lille Airport comprises three terminals, one of which serves both departing and arriving passengers. All gates are in close proximity to one another.
Getting into Town
Bus: A shuttle service runs hourly between Lille Airport and rail stations Lille-Flandres and Lille-Europe, both of which are situated in central Lille. The duration of the trip is 20 minutes.
Taxi: Numerous taxi companies operate at Lille Airport. The average cost of a trip into town is €20, which will take approximately 15 minutes.
Car Parking
Lille Airport has almost 1,600 parking bays spread over four car parks. The most economic option is the long-term park (P1). Although a bit further from the terminal, it is serviced by a free shuttle bus. Slightly closer to the terminal building is P2, and closer still is P3, which is located right next to the terminal. P4 offers sheltered parking on level 1 and has the highest rate.
