Poor|May 2022I was disappointed that my car was 3/4 filled when I got it. the check in people told me it was full , the car pick up guy told me it was 3/4. I was told to take pictures and I did. Returning it , it's impossible to fill just 3/4 tank , so I had to full a full tank. Very disappointed !!! I returned after hours since they closed at 1pm. I overpaid!!!

Poor|May 2022My trip ended on April 29th a day earlier than my rental agreement to ensure it was returned on time with no issues. However the company has been making errors processing the return. I have received emails stating the vehicle was returned on 5/15 at a different location. Sixt seems to see there is an issue because the are currently processing a credit for the error, however my credit card account keeps fluctuating $800 due to their processing errors. My CC already posted the amount so I will have to pay interest even though it was credited back later.

Very good|May 2022The staff was kindly and did their best to accommodate my wishes. Excellent car. The return was difficult because indications were not clear. Although we eventually figured it out, a map given at pick up time would have been a tremendous help and avoided stress.

THEY REPLY MY MAİL AS A ‘’ WE WILL FİX lT lN A FEW DAYS !!!!!!!! After 50 times calling try ,ı spoke with one guy from absurd hertz he said to me bring the car to airport. I took the car to airport. They change the car but they / no upgrad firstly they CHARGE from me gasoline!!!!! They loose my tlne my money and they shamelessly asking me for money . You wasted my half day and you wanted money deom for this. İ REGRET TO HİRE A CAR FROM HERTZ . İ r REGRET . REGRET . REGRET…. *The staff in paris gare de est was bad. Because they was knowing the car has a proplem. NEVER ABSURD HERTZ AGAİN NEVER …

Poor|Feb 2023charged me for 22liters of petrol in a tank that has a 35litre max...the problem is, i returned it with 75% of a full tank. also no clear direction on returning car. have to walk keys to the office, which is 20min away.

Wonderful|Nov 2022Map and photos to aid car return at DeGaulle Airport in Paris was very helpful. Could have used a similar aid to help guide getting out of the airport when I girst arrived and picked up the car.

Wonderful|Nov 2022Both gentlemen at the rental counter at Gare du Nord and return counter at Charles de Gaulle were super helpful and friendly. We had missed our pick up the night before due to unforeseen circumstances. Even so, the gentleman the next morning was very accommodating and made sure we still had a great car for our day trip to Brussels. We realized on the way back to Paris that it would be easier/faster to return the car to CDG, even though we had rented under "return to original office" and after several frustrating conversations with the people at Hertz of France customer service we were able to get in touch with the Hertz CDG team and get the information we were looking for. So, in review: The counter staff at both Gare Du Nord, and CDG were very helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience great. The customer service staff at the main branch of Hertz sucked big time.

Wonderful|Oct 2022This hertz office was large immaculate and very well run. The ease of renting a car in paris proper rather than at the airport was worth it. Some of the online reviews are so old that they’re just wrong. I will only use this car rental spot for the next year in paris.. They could offer more automatic cars available to rent. Not sure why they only offer stick shift options? Also they should warn foreigners about the hundred of dollars in tolls they will have to pay. And I’m not exaggerating when I say hundreds. It’s obscene what they charge for tolls. It’s laughable. But that isn’t hertz fault however they should be more transparent about it.

Poor|Feb 2023They did not let me rent the car. Despite I had a credit card, my dirver licence and my pasport were valid. The image of kayak was not correct at all with the car, the kayak image was 3m interior space for the transporter, the actual was just 1.4m

Poor|Apr 2022We had a reservation. When we showered up at 9am they weren’t open yet. We called Enterprise and they told us they weren’t opening because they ran out of cars. Then when I asked what we should do, the woman hung up on me. So we were stranded in a foreign country.

Dirty and unavailable child carseats, they had to borrow one from another agency !!! Although it was reserved ! Pick-up lengthy and slow service, had to sign up to avis preferred service as they advertised to skip the line, agent tried to hassle with me but showed her their ads to skip their long lengthy slow service line which is so annoying after a 16 hours flight

Wonderful|Jul 2018Great to be able to get vehicle right in downtown Paris and easy drive out of the city. The agent was fantastic although the fact that we are never quite sure what additional insurance we actually need was it's usual source of stress. We rented an economy car and ended up with a beautiful and surprisingly fuel efficient Mercedes AMG.
We just don't love the whole last minute insurance pressure. Would be better if we researched better in advance. I think that we actually have enough coverage between our credit card and insurance from home.
