Your rep. for Sawyer airport, Daphne, was very helpful. The construction wayfinding at the airport was tricky, especially porting the car back to the lot at night. Daphne did point this out, and let me know how to get back in.

Desk staff could not have been more helpful although billing was confusing with lack of detail about total charge. That was not the fault of the local desk however. Thrifty could do a better job of listing the taxes on your invoice rather than just including them in the total with no explanation.

Staff was friendly

Had issues getting in contact, had to extend my rental, called and spoke to Sharon and she extended, told me she would call me back with information but never did. Days later I got a call from someone asking why I hadn't returned the car. I had to switch cars also cause my Impala had a low tire pressure front driver side and windshield wipers were bad.

Drop off was easy

Car had front end damage. Wiper blades were falling apart. After contacting Rental location they suggested I just change them myself.

Friendly and thorough staff, free upgrade when the car I requested was not ready on time.

Uncomfortable car (corolla), free upgrade was a car with worse gas mileage so it ended up being more expensive for me

Associates tell me it will be a small wait to give them time to clean the car I reserved. I said "No Problem" then the manager tries to "upgrade" the rental to a more exspensive car. I decline and tell them i'll wait. The manager continues with "Its only like 5-10 bucks more per day" and then just stares at me waiting for me to fork over more money. Again I decline. The manager leaves the office and returns less than 30 seconds later saying, "Just give him the upgrade, I dont feel like cleaning out the car he reserved" Just a bit of hassle, I would have much rather just picked up the car i reserved instead i was childishly going back and forth about upgrades when the whole reason he wanted me to spend more money was because he didnt want to clean out the car i reserved.
