Get your fill of flamenco dancing and foam parties on this fiery little island. The Costa Brava hotspot of Lloret de Mar is known to many holiday travelers as the place to be and be seen on the Spanish coast. Hundreds of bars line the city center and nightclubs spin tunes all night long. Spend the next day rejuvenating on the white sand beaches or take a walk through one of the resorts peaceful parks. While there are no direct flights to Lloret de Mar, visitors can fly to either the Costa Brava Airport or to Barcelona and take the scenic route to the island.
For a taste of the real Spain visitors can revel in the local cuisine or gather in the town’s Placa de la Vila on Saturday evenings to join in when locals dance the traditional Catalonian Sardana dance.
