Check-in desks open two hours prior to the scheduled departure time and close 40 minutes (30 minutes on domestic flights for passengers with carry-on bags only) before scheduled departure. Passengers who try to check in after this deadline may not be permitted to travel.

Carry-on: One small item not more than 22lbs and not more than 18 x 12 x 9 in). In addition you can carry a purse, duty free goods, laptop computer, coat and umbrella.
Checked: 44lbs of checked baggage is permitted per passenger.
Excess: Checked baggage over 40lbs will incur excess baggage charges at the current rate. No single bag weighing more than 25kg will be carried.

Online: Booking changes may be made online up to (but not including) the day of departure of the first flight in your booking.
Date changes and split bookings, separating the date of travel of individual passengers on your booking can be made, although there may be restrictions to this in some cases.
Call center and sales desks: Up to three hours before departure changes can generally be made to passenger's names, travel dates and to split bookings subject to a £20 ($40) charge per person, per one-way flight, plus the difference between the old fare and the new available call center fare. Credit card payments are subject to a fee of £2 ($4).

Infants under the age of two years fly free if seated on the lap of a paying adult. Infants traveling free of charge do not have their own baggage allowance. For children older than two years, the price of flights is the same as for adults.Children under the age of 14 years must be accompanied by a person age 16 or older who will take full responsibility for them.

With the exception of registered guide dogs accompanying a passenger with seeing or hearing disabilities, no animals are permitted to be carried. Subject to availability, Jet2.com may carry guide dogs free of charge on domestic flights.

A musical instrument can be carried onboard if it is within the permitted carry-on item dimensions of 18 x 12 x 9in and weighs less than 15lbs. A slightly larger instrument can be carried on board, provided it will fit into the overhead bin, strictly at Jet2.com’s discretion.A musical instrument may also be checked as baggage provided it is within a strong, protective case and with the understanding that it is carried entirely at the passenger’s risk for damage or delay. A separate seat may be purchased for a large musical instrument (such as a cello) instead of checking it in the aircraft’s baggage compartment.
