Airline Overview
Allegiant Air, headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, currently flies to 60 destinations in 29 states. Founded in 1997, Allegiant Air is a vacation carrier that focuses on small cities or secondary airports close to popular holiday resorts, where few other airlines offer service. The company also offers holidays through its sister Allegiant Vacations.
The airline recommends check-in times of two hours before departure at all airports except Las Vegas and Orlando/Sanford, where you should allow 2.5 hours. Desks close 45 minutes before departure.

Carry-on: Carry-on baggage must fit under your seat or in an overhead compartment and must not exceed 9 x 16 x 19 inches.
Checked: Each bag carried by Allegiant is charged a fee of $4. Individual bag weight must not exceed 50lbs. No more than four bags are permitted per passenger.
Excess: Bags weighing more than 50lbs will be subject to charges. Those weighing 51-70lbs will be charged $25. Those weighing 71-100lbs will be charged $50. No bag weighing more than 100lbs will be carried.

Changes to reservations, including name, must be made through Allegiant’s reservation center. Fees apply, but vary by change type.

Infants (up to 23 months) travel free on an adult’s lap. Children over two pay full fare. The minimum age for unaccompanied children is five.
