By reviewing the average roundtrip airfare users found on Cheapflights.com to each airport over the last three months, we created a national list. From there, we created localized lists based on average airfares users found in searches for flights departing from the 10 most popular airports in each of the country’s six regions: the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, South Central states, Mountain states and West Coast.
