They cancelled drinks and food because of possible turbulence. It was a 6 hour flight and I was in need of water. There was no turbulence at all. When I was on my second flight with Delta from Atlanta to Toronto, they served drinks and snacks through turbulence and it was a shorter flight. While I understand safety reasons, I don't think it should be drink and food should be cancelled unless the turbulence is actually happening and is severe. It a long flight and not everyone bring there own food and drinks. Not only did the turbulence not happen they had no intentions of giving anything out again knowing there was no turbulence.
