I was told that the card I used when I made the reservation would be refunded. However, I still have not received a refund. The reference number for the reservation was 24510723217108697920056.

|Apr 2023Handed off to Qeek by Kayak? Impossible to navigate the Qeek website and they changed my pickup point from the requested Tampa Airport location to Downtown (although Qeek would not admit they made this change). Therefore, canceled the whole booking and rebooked through Expedia, but still with Sixt. Kayak retained my booking deposit, so will never use Kayak (Qeek whatever) again! Very short-term business outlook in the way you "use" your customers. Will be interested to see if these surveys serve ANY purpose. Already interesting to see that Kayak doesn't seem to realize rental was canceled.....as you're sending me this survey.

|Jul 2023They didn't provide a charging cable for the EV, despite saying there "should" be one in the trunk. So we had no option to charge other than to find a public charger, of which there were none in the area where we stayed. We could barely leave the place we were staying for fear of not having the battery to get back to Tampa.

|May 2021I was amazed how fast the line went at the Tampa airport facility. However, the line had about 250 people in it! That meant that they got people into about 100 cars in about 1 hr 45 min that we waited in line (after about 30 min upstairs to do the paperwork)
The people upstairs could have been more forthright and given us more information about the line situation. We had no idea where to go, what line we were supposed to be in and finally asked our way to the end of the line that wrapped around and around. Nobody from Hertz upstairs explained the situation, or warned us what we were walking into. We are understanding that the problem was a surge in travel compounded by reduced inventory because of Covid, and my complaint is really about the car more than the service. We, after 2 hrs of waiting were offered the choice of a Silver Ford Fusion with a dented fender or a black Ford Fusion, which we took. All mechanicals functioned well, but the passenger seat was like sitting in a hole for my wife. The seat is too low, and visibility is limited for the passenger. I even tried looking up the car online to see if I was missing something, Obviously I wasn't going to get another car from the airport. The suggestions online were to put longer bolts under the seat with metal spacers. I didn't think that was a good choice on a rental. I even bought a cushion at Target to try to get her another inch, They don't make phone books anymore, so we just dealt with it for about 800 miles of driving in two weeks, but boy did I ever hear about it!. Please don't buy any more Fusions! I really liked the wipers that seemed to sense moisture and self adjusted through the rainstorms we had to negotiate.

|Apr 2024I am confused why / how I ended up paying $397 when my quoted price was only $197. We added a second driver for $51 (that is a little steep) and paid for 1/2 a tank of gas ($33) - not sure where / how we got to $200 more. Big rip off!!!

|Sep 2023Car was ok, people working for ace needs to be trained on how to treat costumers, they are very rude and so unprofessional , at he kiosk at the airport they were almost forcing me to upgrade my rental and trying to get me to buy some other unnecessary stuff, it was so unprofessional, I don’t know if I’ll rent a car from this place again.

|Mar 2023Price was good and car was what we needed. They do try to upsell you a bit at the check in counter . Offer a more expensive car, offer insurance which you don’t need if you have an auto policy, offer to sell you a tank of gas rather than refilling yourself. Just say no to all of it.

|Oct 2023Collection at the airport was terrible. There was a long line and it took us over 45 minutes to collect our car. There were only 4 people working on the desks and it took at least 15 minutes per customer for no obvious reason at all - lots of standing around waiting while they called down for the car. Not what you want after a long flight. Enterprise stand in contrast had no wait! The car itself was great - nearly new, great condition and a hybrid so very economical. Return drop off was simple

|May 2022The vehicle was the only issue that I would change due to the navigation system was not functioning properly and I was turned around quite a bit that I had to down load a different gps app to navigate to my needed destination. Lastly , it was the wrong size vehicle that was difficult to get in and out of and the turn radius was horrible. The Alamo staff from start to finish was superb and I will use Alamo for now on but I will take my time to really choose the right vehicle for my safety and size paralleled with comfort! The low profile tires should never be on any vehicle that rental property, I felt every bump that jilted the entire vehicle and made for a anxious feeling that the tires would lose tire air pressure! The next vehicle that I use as a rental will be a SUV .
