|Nov 2021This Payless/Budget counter in Puerto Vallarta felt like a complete scam. I ordered a Luxury SUV which was quite a bit more expensive then other cars. Upon arrival they did not have any SUVs in stock. They gave us a small car and discounted the cost a bit. They said they would deliver the SUV the next day. Towards the end of the next day they delivered a Kia Sorrento which is not a luxury SUV. When I asked about it they said they don't have any luxury SUVs. Upon return of the car they would not discount our rental any further. Basically I paid for a Luxury SUV but got a lower class car. It definitely felt like a scam. I will not be using this service in the future and will bring this up with Budget/Payless directly.
