• The Jakobshorn area has a good combination of excellent skiing and cosy Swiss chalets for that all-important lunch. 
• Try cross country skiing.  The cross country skiing world cup is held here, all cross country pistes are free, and there are many types of run, including one where you can take your dog.
• Spend money cheerfully. Lots of shopping, excellent restaurants and a wellness center where you can relax and unwind while you gaze at the amazing range of Davos mountains may all hit the swiss franc wallet, but it is worth it.
