A wellness center is to open at Minneapolis/St Paul International Airport (MSP) later this year.

The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) board revealed that the center will feature a hair salon, a spa, a health clinic and a pharmacy. The 5,000-square-foot wellness center will be located near the entrance of Concourse D at the Lindbergh Terminal of MSP and developed by airport spa specialists XpresSpa.

Jeff Hamiel, Executive Director of MAC, said: “The wellness center will provide important services to travelers and strengthen Minneapolis-St. Paul International’s reputation as a national leader in airport amenities.

“These new services will add to the overall travel experience and expand opportunities for travelers to relax and take care of themselves along the way.”

The spa will offer a series of health and beauty services to passengers including hair cuts, waxing, manicures, facial and massages.
