Meet Aloft Chicago City Center, the latest hotel from Starwood’s trendy, design-focused Aloft brand, debuting today in downtown Chicago’s River North Neighborhood.

The new boutique property is the lifestyle brand’s first in the midwest, bringing Aloft’s signature modern architecture, sleek decor and hip design to the trendy River North district.

“As the first urban Aloft location in the Midwest, River North was the perfect fit as we expand our brand,” General Manager Craig Pearson said in a release. “I think our hotel guests and Chicagoans will enjoy the Aloft experience and what we’re bringing to this already popular and growing neighborhood.”

The LEED certified building boasts 272 rooms outfitted with all sorts of amenities. Think free WiFi, platform beds, high ceilings and extra large windows to take in the city. Plus, rooms have 42-inch flat-screens and bath amenities are from the upscale Bliss Spa product line.

But there’s plenty to keep you busy outside of the modern, wood-trimmed rooms. The W XYZ Bar offers seasonal cocktails from around the world, plus beer and pinot noir selections. On a given night, you might catch a live acoustic band as you play a game of pool in the loft-inspired lobby bar. In the morning, you can “re:charge” at the 24/7 fitness center, “re:fuel” with a sandwich or hot coffee from the grab-and-go pantry or kick back in an egg-shaped chair in the RE:MIX Lounge.

Furry travel companions are also welcome to check out the chic property under Aloft’s free ARF program, which includes a bed, bowl, treats and toys for your dog.

The property opens today with a new River North hotel triplex featuring a Fairfield Inn & Suites, Hyatt Place and Beatrix, a neighborhood restaurant, bakery and coffee house just off the Aloft Chicago City Center’s lobby. Aloft Chicago City Center is taking reservations for stays beginning June 27.
