Among major airports, the Department of Transportation (DOT) ranks Salt Lake City International (SLC) number one in the nation in terms of on-time performance. This is the second year in a row SLC topped the list.
DOT’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics says 83.51
percent of SLC’s arrived on time (within 15 minutes of schedule); 86.35
percent departed on-time.
Salt Lake City is a prime hub for Delta Air Lines, the largest air carrier in the world.
