Foodies love Philly. And now Philadelphia International Airport is lying on more places to nosh, imbibe, and seriously eat.

The Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops just opened what the airport calls a “new and improved” menu of offerings at the planet’s 42nd busiest airport:

  • Eat at Joe’s is the kind of classic name you’d expect to find in Philadelphia. Located on Concourse B, the eatery has undergone a makeover. It serves up burgers, hot dogs and sandwiches.
  • Good2Go, as the name implies, specializes in fixing food for folks who’ve got to eat on the fly. Most airlines don’t serve food anymore in the rear cabin – not unless you pay for it. Make your seatmate envious and stop by the new Good2Go on Concourse C. Sandwiches are freshly made, and there’s a nice selection of fruit and salads.
  • Philly Steak & Gyro is quintessential Philadelphia fare: Philly steak sandwiches, hoagies and such served on freshly-baked bread. The place is on Concourse C and it’s newly renovated.
  • Vino Volo is this Cheapflights reporter’s favorite. Part of a chain, it has the look and feel of a stand-alone restaurant and wine bar. The vintages are first rate, and you can have a light meal too by ordering one of Vino Volo’s small plate dishes. You’ll find it in International A Terminal West
  • XpresSpa won’t add any inches to your waistline, but it will render your trip (especially the long-range species) far more relaxing. It offers massages and reflexology. If you’re so inclined, there are also manicure, pedicures, and facials.
