Two new services to Atlanta and Houston are coming to Des Moines International Airport, officials have said.

Local news station KCCI reports that Comair’s The Delta Connection is to add two additional daily flights to Atlanta on November 3, with departures at 3:50pm and 5:40pm.

Meanwhile, Continental Airlines is to add 100 additional seats per week to Houston when it upgrades its jet from a 37-seat model to a 50-seat model.

Officials told KCCI that there will be 700 new seats a week with the additions.
