Salt Lake City International will become the latest airport to introduce express security lanes for pre-registered passengers.

Members of the Clear fast-pass program will be able to use designated fast lanes, which are already in operation at airports in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York and Washington.

Maureen Riley, Executive Director of the Salt Lake City Department of Airports, said: “We are pleased to offer customers another option for efficiently navigating the security checkpoints.”

Steven Brill, Chief Executive of Clear, said: “Salt Lake City is an important market for business and leisure travelers and a significant part of Clear’s expansion plan.

“We’re eager to spread rapidly in the West and we applaud the Airport’s leadership in bringing the program to their travelers.”
