Start off your journey in Cairo and spend the day exploring the Pyramids and Great Sphinx. Stroll the halls of the Egyptian Museum and check out Tutankhamen’s tomb. An overnight train will take you to Aswan along the Nile River. Enjoy a traditional dinner in a Nubian village or a drink at the floating restaurant.  Day five is spent travelling on a traditional felucca boat down the Nile en route to Luxor, the ancient capital of Egypt. Luxor is the home of the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple as well as the Mummification Museum.  Here you can experience local shopping and dining before heading back to Cairo on day eight.
