Passengers need to fuel up too before taking flight. To that end, some new eateries at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), most of them spicy.

In Terminal 7, grab something from the menu at Baja Fresh Express and head straight for the gate. In Terminals 1, 2, and 7 let your nose lead you to the baked goods at La Brea Bakery Café. This food vendor serves up salads, sandwiches, and a variety of freshly baked breads and pastries. The latter tends to keep especially well on flights, and doesn’t spoil. That’s why flyers favor breads, cookies, bagels and such.

If sit-down dining is what you’re after check out The Border Mexican Restaurant and Cantina in Terminal 4. There’s a full-service bar there too.
