Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is expecting to have fewer travelers over Thanksgiving this year.

The airport believes it will see 1.6 million passengers, 14.3 percent down on Thanksgiving 2007.

Officials say this is due to to a number of carriers ending services at LAX.

Meanwhile, LA/Ontario International Airport is also feeling the pinch, expecting 30 percent fewer travelers this year compared to last.
