Country Music Television (CMT) is to open its first ever retail store at Nashville International Airport.
CMT Loot, located on Concourse C, will offer passengers the chance to purchase CDs, DVDs and other country-music related memorabilia.
The news marks the network’s first move into the retail sector and has been backed by specialist airport retailer the Hudson Group, which already operates the Discover Nashville store at the airport.
Joseph DiDomizio, Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of the Hudson Group, said: “Located next to our Discover Nashville store, CMT Loot celebrates the culture and music that make Nashville great.
“The airport authority has done a great job in envisioning an exciting new retail program, and the CMT Loot/Discover Nashville store is early evidence of what is yet to come.”
A series of new retail outlets and food concessions are planned for Nashville International over the next few months.
