Orlando International Airport has launched a new advertising campaign to promote flights.

The Florida-based terminal is targeting passengers in the Tampa area with a campaign that highlights the lack of international flights at Tampa International Airport.

Carolyn Fennell, Spokesperson for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, told the Tampa Bay Business Journal: “The main intention is to be informational.

“Fall is the time that people are making their travel plans for the new year. People do not realize that you can go so many places nonstop.”

Orlando International offers nonstop flights to 20 overseas destinations including London, Mexico City and the Bahamas. New flights to Brazil will be added next month.

Tampa, meanwhile, has flights to Athens, Greece, and Toronto and Vancouver in Canada.
