Whether you’re into Woody Allen films or prefer to see newcomer Eric Bana’s directorial debut, there’s no denying anyone the movie of their choice at the famed Tribeca Film Festival.

The 2009 Tribeca Film Festival starts April 23 and if you’re hoping to travel to New York to catch the stars and the shows, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the discounts available.

In addition to the cheap flights to New York, discounted ticket packages to the Tribeca Film Festival are on sale now starting at $39. An opening weekend package for $105 includes two general tickets to one film on April 24, two films on April 25 and one film on April 26.

And the best part? Hotels are discounting rooms by the minute. If you don’t mind staying outside of Tribeca, you can find great rates on New York hotels.

For rooms closer to the festival, the Morgan’s Hotel Group is offering a 20 percent discount to all Tribeca Film Festival attendees at the Royalton and Hudson hotels in New York City. The discount is available on rooms booked from Apr. 17-May 2, 2009.
